Browsing and Finding Ads
Ads posted to the Appliance Classifieds are organized into major categories. The front page of the Appliance Classifieds contains a link for each major category available on the system. When you click on a link, you are provided a list of subcategories. Click a subcategory link to enter that area of the site. You are then provided with a list of the current ads which are posted to that subcategory.
When reviewing ads, you are provided with navigational menus which will lead to various areas of the site. Each ad detail page will provides links to the home page, the major category and the subcategory where this ad is posted.
You may click on the "Home" link in the top level navigational menus at any time to return to the opening page of the Appliance Classifieds.
User Registration
User Registration is a vital part of being able to use the Appliance Classifieds. Many features including the ability to post ads to the system require user registration. If you are presented with a login screen and have not become a registered user, you should click on the "Sign Up" link. This will allow you to complete the brief registration form and proceed.
You will be required to provide a unique UserName and Password which will identify you on our system. You may elect to display your information for contact purposes or choose to not display this information in the ads.

Modifying Your Profile
Your User Profile may be updated at anytime. To edit your user profile, click on the link titled "My Profile" in the main menu. You will be asked to login to the system with your username and password you used when originally establishing your user profile.
If you have edited your password, the next time you login to the system, you must begin using the new password you selected to gain access.
Posting an Ad
To post an ad click on the "Post Ad" link from the menu. To post a new ad to the Appliance Classifieds, you must first be a registered user. User registration is easy and quick. Simply click on the "Sign Up" link provided on the Login Form to enter the requested information.
Selecting Ad Categories and Subcategories
Appliance Classifieds is divided into major categories and then further into subcategories. You may only post an ad to one subcategory. When you first begin to post an ad, you will be presented with the options to select which subcategory your ad will be posted.
Ad Duration
Ads are posted for a specific periods. You should select the length of time you wish for your ad to remain on the system after choosing the subcategories where your ad is displayed.
Ad Details
After you have selected the where your ad is posted and for how long, you will then begin to enter your ad details. The ad details form will ask you to provide information about the ad you want to place. While it varies by category, you will always be asked to provide a "Headline" for your ad. This is the main topic which is display in ad listings and details when you ad is viewed. Different categories will have different required fields. To ad your listing you must complete all the fields which are designated as "required". You will not be able to proceed if these fields are left blank. All other fields may be completed as applicable to your specific ad.
Once you have completed the ad details form, you will then be taken to a preview form which allows to review your ad before submitting it.
Ad Maintenance
All ads posted to the Appliance Classifieds are available by clicking "My Ads" link in the main menu. You will need to provide the username and password which is active in our User Database. After you enter your username and password, you will be presented with a list of all ads you currently have posted.
Editing Your Ads
Once you have successfully logged into the system, the list of current ads will provide you with options. To view an ad's detail, simply click on the "View Details" link. This will show you all ad details and allow you to verify that this ad is indeed the one you wish to edit.
Once you have determined which ad to edit, you will see a link to "Edit". Clicking this link will retrieve the existing information we have on file for that particular ad. The information on file is pre-filled into a form. You may edit any or all of the fields to change the ad details posted.
Once you have made all your modifications, you should then press the "Update" button at the bottom of the form. Your changes will take place immediately.
Deleting Your Ads
To delete a specific ad, simply press the "Delete" link located in the menu of the ad you want to delete. You will be presented with a confirmation window asking you to confirm that you want to delete the ad. Pressing the "OK" button will permanently delete the ad from our system.
To cancel without deleting the ad, press the "Cancel" button on the confirmation dilog. This will return you to the list of ads you have posted on the system.
Selecting An Ad To Renew
To renew a specific ad, simply press the "Renew" link located in the ad menu. You will be presented with a screen asking to select the length of time to renew your selected ad. Make your selection accordingly and press the "Submit" button. Your new expiration date will take affect immediately.
